يتناول هذا البحث تاريخ إحدى المدن الكردية الواقعة في كردستان تركيا، وهي مدينة (دنيسر = قوج حصار)، وتعرف حالياً بـ(قزلتبه)، خلال العهود الاسلامية الواقعة ما بين (534 – 736هـ / 1139-1335م). قسمت هذه الدراسة الى ثلاثة مباحث، تطرق الاول عن تسمية دنيسر، وموقعها الجغرافي، فضلاً عن البدايات الاولى لظهور المدينة، أما المبحث الثاني، تناول تاريخ دنيسر عبر التاريخ الاسلامي بدءاً من الفتح الاسلامي بشكل مختصر، ثم التطرق الى تاريخها خلال فترة حكم اراتقه ماردين، و حتى نهاية حكم الدولة الايلخانية لأقليم دياربكر،أما المبحث الأخير فقد بحث عن الجوانب العلمية، والإدارية لمدينة دنيسر.
